{% tabs %} {% tab title="Copy / Cut" %} ## Copy, Cut Copy, Cut, > This simple command copies the contents of your selection to your clipboard while recording your relative position to the copied objects > \> \[-e]: denotes entities. Copy together with entities. > \[-m \]: denotes mask. Set a mask to only copy blocks matching the mask; non-matching blocks will be replaced with air. > > #### Note: Copying and pasting will follow the relative position between you and the copy, intended as follows. * Usage:`//copy [-e] [-m ]`., (`//copy`will only copy objects within the selection to your clipboard and will not remove objects in the selection) * Note: Cutting and pasting will follow the relative position between you and the copy, intended as follows. > \[Fill block]: fill the gap created by cutting with a specific block. Defaults to air if not specified. * Usage:`//cut [fill block]`. Available directions are north, south, east, west, up and down; the cardinal directions can be chosen in modes facing those directions, up and down cannot. The clipboard is flipped across a plane perpendicular to the given direction located at the middle of the clipboard (not the player's position). There are three planes: one horizontal (xz) and two vertical (xy, yz). The horizontal xz plane is defined by the up/down vector; the xz plane is defined east/west, and the yz plane is defined south/north.
